I am Dee La Vardera, writer and photographer from Wiltshire. I write magazine features, short stories and dabble in poetry. I have published non-fiction books relating to local history, and about WW2.
‘Dewfall-hawk’ is Thomas Hardy’s poetic word for the nightjar which appears in ‘Afterwards’, a favourite poem of mine.
Whatever the medium – poetry, prose, music, painting, sculpture or photography, it is a joy to have the freedom to express oneself and to share one’s view of the world with others.
