Autumn walk

A walk around Ramsbury today and through the churchyard of Holy Cross Church.  A very sad gravestone to read of the Vokins family who lost three dear sons in the First World War – all the more poignant because of the season with the gold and brown dying leaves covering the ground beneath. A beautiful brick and flint wall set against the blazing blue sky. Delicate wild cyclamen flowering among the old churchyard oak tree roots.
